The idea of the project came after a visit to Roses Handicap Center for children with mental development disabilities. There are 35 children, ages 5-12 years old, in this center and they come from the city of Lezha as well as surrounding villages. Through this project farmers from Balldreni village will provide milk daily to the children of this center. They are passing on for this gift through the milk for the children in the handicap center. This project aims to assist two groups of people; the children of the handicap center and their need for better nutrition and the farmers of Balldreni village and their need to improve their quality of life and increase income for their families.
The project focuses on:
Improvement of milk consumption for handicap children
Increase of family income for farmers of Balldreni group through developing small-scale cattle farms
